One of the quickest turn arounds from engagement to wedding day yet, but with the perfection of this wedding day, you would never know it!! We managed to fit engagements, bridals and wedding day into a 3.5. month span and now I am so sad that it is all over. OH and Laken have been SUCH A DREAM to work with and such a sweet and genuine couple.
We had, what felt like, a summers day out on White Lake. The moss trees and waterfront made for a gorgeous backdrop and gave Laken that perfect southern feel that she was going for!
Once everyone was glammed up and ready, we boarded the party bus and headed to the picture perfect backdrop for all the photos. I absolutely love how they all turned out at this location. Also, you would have never known a major storm was headed right towards us! We were able to get everything done and with moments to spare, loaded up the party bus and headed to the church.
By the time the ceremony started, the storm was gone and the sun came back out! Another reason why this felt just like a summer wedding day! The ceremony was full of happy tears and sweet words. I do not think I have ever seen bigger smiles from a bride and groom, once the preacher announced them!!
The rest of the evening took place at the Clifton residence. How special is it that Laken was able to have such a special day, in her backyard, where she grew up?! A clear tent was set up in the side yard and it was filled with blue and white southern charm.
One of my favorite moments of the day was the sunset photos. Again, these memories being captured on such a special piece of land is one of the coolest things that they will get to now cherish for a lifetime!
The Band Punch kicked it off and kept the party going all night long! This was a crowd who did not want it to end and had some great dance moves!!
